A Bausch and Lomb Thanks

I#4U team member Julie with our 2013 Women Build homeowner Kreasha and daughter Khemani.

A very special thanks this week to Bausch + Lomb for their $5,000 donation to the I#4U Women Build team! This hardworking team of Bausch + Lomb employees has done some pretty creative fundraising – including raffling off painted bird houses! It’s great to see the corporate support of dedicated and passionate employees. So a big thanks from us to Bausch + Lomb for financially supporting their employees cause.

Which leads us to two tools for thanks

1.) This blog! Have a large donor you want to give a shout out to? No problem! Just send us a quick couple of lines about who they are and why you’d like to thank them and we’ll work them into posts in the future. Just email Deanna at dvarble@rochesterhabitat.org. If you have pictures of your team to go along with your thanks – that’s even better! We can accept emails up to 8MB so attach one or two with your post.

DonationCards_ThankYouBlank2.) Handwritten cards. Doesn’t EVERYONE love to get real snail mail? We don’t mean the latest credit card offer but a real handwritten thank you note. If you have the mailing address of your donors and would like to send a handwritten thank you – we highly encourage it! And to help you along the way, we’ve designed a PDF that you can print out, cut in half, and fold to make your own Women Build notecards. Just click here to download the cards.

Lastly – we’re getting our order together for the 2013 Women Build t-shirts. So if you haven’t collected your teams sizes and sent them to Mary – please do ASAP!
